Nearly 2 hours of wilderness jet boating and spectacular scenery across the braided, glacier-fed Dart River

Learn about the Pounamu (Greenstone) that made the Dart River a key trading route for our Nga-i Tahu ancestors, the early Ma-ori of the area

Hear tales of rich farms carved from the rugged landscape by early settlers

Self-drive to Glenorchy, allowing an hour for travel from Queenstown to allow for photo stops and plenty of time to check in before your trip departs. The spectacular 46km drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy is one of the world’s Top 10 scenic drives. Check-in at the Dart River office, 45 Mull Street, Glenorchy, 15 minutes prior to trip time.

What to bring

•  Life jackets are supplied and mandatory on the jet boat. Optional spray jackets are also available.

•  Sunglasses, sun hat/Beanie, camera, sunscreen, insect repellent and warm outer layer recommended.

•  Wear suitable supportive footwear in all seasons.
